Jerome Keeton, aged 54, peacefully passed away at Mount Sinai Hospital on February 14th, 2024. Born October 24, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois to Louise and John Keeton, Jerome would go on to attend Einstein Elementary School and DuSable High School on Chicago’s South Side. Jerome, a proud and longtime Bronzeville resident, was a familiar face at local parties and community events, always ready to celebrate and support. He was loved by many, and positively impacted the lives of those he loved the most. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and John Keeton, his eldest brother, Nelson Lawrence, and younger sister, Renee Keeton. Jerome is survived by his bonus daughter - Tiara, 8 siblings - Lula, Belinda, Johnny, Patrice, Tyrone, Leon, Leroy, and Latosha, and a large, loving extended family and friends. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the generosity and love he shared with those around him.
